Now that I am pretty far into the story I want to learn if the buggers are even real. I would like to know this because in the begining of the book everybody is scared of the buggers but while ender is in battle school the teachers mess with his army and act like its just a game.Another thing I would like to know is when will ender graduate battle school? I mean he has already become a commander and he is #1 on the leaderboards so honestly how much more is there to do in battle school?
Farther in the book I think one major conflict he will have to face whether the buggers are real or not is himself eventually he will have to decide who to beleive colonel graff or dink. Now if the buggers are real I think he will have a very hard time beating them. Now if they are not Ender will have a hard time getting over that he just spent about 4-5 years of his life at a school he didnt want to go to for no reason at all. Also if the buggers are real and he loses the fight I think he will have a hard time telling everyone on earth that they have lost the war and the buggers have won.
I think one quality that should help Ender win against the buggers is he is vengeful. I think this will help because he wants revenge on the buggers for invading them in the first place. I also think he will win because he is very smart and he also would want to prove to the people that doubted him that he can command the fleet and can win the war for the human race.
I agree with you because like now that I am far in the story Im starting to think that the buggers aren't real because like its almost the end of the book and that no Buggers have ever attacked yet and if they aren't real I think ender will be super mad also, But also in your last paragraph I think the quality that will help him is sadness because I think he will use that to turn it into rage because he probably misses his family so much and is eager to get back to them so he will use his anger and sadness to defeat the buggers.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because since none of the buggers attacked or harmed anyone yet what was the point of the book bit the author maybe just leading us into an up rising or a resolution to explain why nothing happened and why the buggers didn't attack.
ReplyDeleteYea since the buggers didn't attack yet and never even be harming people there would be no point to be in the book.People could just always flip to see but then they would see that nothing will happen but just read all the boring parts.

ReplyDeleteReally Reed "bug me". I also agree with joey about most things except that buggers are for sure real and that Ender is definably not vengeful, but all the people he beat in battle, there vengeful.
