Reading diary blog #3

8.Now that you are this far into the story,what do you look forward to learning next? what conflicts or problems will the characters face?What qualities of your character (honest,loyal,cruel,dishonest,angry,vengeful) will affect how the character handles the problems and conflicts he encounters?

     Now that I am pretty far into the story I want to learn if the buggers are even real. I would like to know this because in the begining of the book everybody is scared of the buggers but while ender is in battle school the teachers mess with his army and act like its just a game.Another thing I would like to know is when will ender graduate battle school? I mean he has already become a commander and he is #1 on the leaderboards so honestly how much more is there to do in battle school?

          Farther in the book I think one major conflict he will have to face whether the buggers are real or not is himself eventually he will have to decide who to beleive colonel graff or dink. Now if the buggers are real I think he will have a very hard time beating them. Now if they are not Ender will have a hard time getting over that he just spent about 4-5 years of his life at a school he didnt want to go to for no reason at all. Also if the buggers are real and he loses the fight I think he will have a hard time telling everyone on earth that they have lost the war and the buggers have won.

       I think one quality that should help Ender win against the buggers is he is vengeful. I think this will help because he wants revenge on the buggers for invading them in the first place. I also think he will win because he is very smart and he also would want to prove to the people that doubted him that he can command the fleet and can win the war for the human race.

 12. Are you puzzled or confused about anything in the story? What is it that confuses you.and why do you find it confusing?    


        Yes i am confused about something that happened in the story. The thing I am confused about is how the trades work in the story. I dont understand how ender was traded from salamander army to rat army. I mean i know this sounds like a weird thing to be confused about but I truly am honestly confused about this. I also want to know why they didnt say what he was traded for.

if i could ask any character a question it would be ender i would ask ender why he went to battle school if he knew he was gonna miss his sister and his parents.If i could ask the author a question it would be why did you make the story turn out the way it did.

Prediction for Ender's Game

     My prediction for my book Ender's Game is that it will probably take place in the future. I predict it will be about a alien war. I also think that it will be very interesting and exciting. I am also predicting that it will be long and have more details in the story. I also think that it will also be a adventure book.

9.If you could ask any character a question,what would you ask?If you could ask the author a question what might it be?Explain why you chose these questions.

     If I could ask any character a question it would be Katniss. The question I would ask Katniss would be why did she choose Peeta over Gale to get married to and live with the rest of her life. I want to know why  she chose him because the book described Gale as such a hot guy and Peeta not so hot but nicer so it didn't really matter who she chose but I still would like to know the reason behind her choosing Peeta over Gale. One different question I would ask her is why she voted to have another Hunger Games for the kids like snows grand daughter. Even though president snow did bad things she should not have to pay for her grandfathers crimes.

     If I could ask the author a question it would be how did she come up with the Hunger Games series. I would ask this because i'm interested in knowing how she came up with the book. I would also ask what gave her the inspiration to write it. I would also tell her that I think that the Hunger Games is a good book series and is very inspiring.
